53. Godly Moments, Unmerited!

People's Comportment is so telling and it must be paid attention to, in ACTing and especially in Life, where the safety of the script, of the stage is non existent. In this session I am breaking down Will Smith "Apology" for slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, to the world. Here is how his behavior/comportment gives him away! I am so shocked these days by people, especially by those people I know, I thought I knew...and their reveal of their characterless selves. I am sad to see how some, have God's Hand on their Head without Merit, or better sounding in Romanian, le a pus Dumnezeu Mana-n Cap si nu Merita! People's Behavior observed in detail is one of the many trainings ACTors must have and that training is very valuable in real Life. If learned it will give anyone clues, into the hidings, some people try to conceal for a lifetime, by portraying only the public persona, the good side. That is called a Bad Actor in fictional stories and in life stories. The facade they maintain will break over time and the true self will be revealed. Why not learn to be a great observer and know who you are dealing with, sooner than later. It will save a lot of heartbreak! And the reveal of who they are is less scary!

52. Public Speaking Tools Prince Harry shoud Use

Prince Harry becoming the man Harry, should have prepared his speech to the United Nations for Nelson Mandela International Day Event. As ACTors we would have to prepare so why not him! Everyone is talking about the boring, monotone speech he gave and question why his actress wife Meghan Markle did not help him with it. And I say, because she does not know herself. There are people out there who understand the value of the Tools ACTing provides for Public Speaking, she does not. Here are some of my suggestions to what was lacking and how he could have made it a great speech, as the Event for such a great man as Nelson Mandela so much deserved, on this International Day Celebration.

49. The Actors Studio 75 Years Celebration!

I cannot believe The Actors Studio is celebrating 75 years since it was founded in 1947, with Lee Strasberg, Elia Kazan and many others, who based Method Acting on Constantin Stanilslavsky's System founded 100 years ago.  I am also celebrating, my 20 years of membership, at The Actors Studio. In this episode I am reminded and I am grateful for what I have been priveleged to, in all these years. This incredible Work and its Techniques from Staislavsky to Strasberg, changed ACTing forever, globally, to what became known, the ART of Experiencing. Exercises such as the Private Moment, the Song Exercise, the Moment Before, Moment to Moment work, all and more, described here, from my ownn experiences on the sacred stage. I hope by sharing my journey from Romania to America, combining my personal story, from my childhood in a village in Transylvania to getting into the Actors Studio in America, when that seemed impossible. My analysis beat by bit, on the interview with #amberheard on the Today Show, and the differences between acting greatly and acting badly in life and on stage or screen. I would not allow and ACTORS to go on, lying, behaving and acting badly. Why are we allowing AH to keep doing it? Please do not credit Amber Heard with ACTing and Performance of a Lifetime. That is unjustice to Johnny Depp and other great actors. Here is a breakdown of the Interview on the Today Show with AH, crazy!

Soul Exercising is the same as Body Exercising, you cannot Pretend and Expect to get Results. Soul Exercising requires full, honest exposure of the soul, when ACTing greatly, in Life on Stage and Screen. The opposite is the confusing phrase of #amberheard -says the lawyer who is representing the man, who convinced the world, he has scissors ✂️ hands- referring to #johnnydeppisinnocent in the role of Edward Scissorshands and suggesting, in her mediocre understanding of ACTing, that credibility as an actor requires lying, and pretending when it is the opposite, requiring honesty, truth more so than any other people. Great ACTors must expose their entire spectrum of humanity, the bad the good and the ugly, to then use it as canvas, on which to start playing characters, as human as all of us are. Not perfect but flawed and great with struggles and joys and all in between. That requires the total exposure of the soul!

Attention must be Paid - to paraphrase Arthur Miller. The horrific tragedy, the shooting in Texas, of innocent children and teachers, demands attention and it shoud have been paid a long time ago...

Great ACTors are Great ACTivists - Living viscerally the stories is what great actors have and bad actors do not. A great actor is Matthew McCanaughey, choked up, paying tribute to the lost lives, in the Texas Shooting, sharing their ended dreams, in such a powerful way, that no other professional can do. ACTing greatly is based on truth telling and belief and care for the truth. And it is what great ACTors have in common. Great actors cannot get away with lies, as it is believed, it is exactly the opposite. Lying is found out no matter how great a performance. Audiences detect it. Living truthfully is what only a few actors can do, because it is hard work, it demands a lot of commitment anf work.
And HOPE.
Another great actor is Johnny Depp, found innocent, in the trial, because he was unafraid of the truth of his story to be shared no matter the exposure, and in the process of accepting flaws, accepting humanity as is, to then give others the courage to accept theirs. 45. CONFESSIONS Without A PRIEST In Greece!

This is the most vulnerable for me. I thought I was more fierce, to be honest. Talking about it and doing it are two very different things. Especially in real life when the safety of the script is not there. To admit my emotional rollercoster, my feelings changing, as I get out of the USA, for the first time, since the pandemic. I am excited but also I am recognizing the safety of the routine for two years, and that is something I am sure many feel. I talk about trying new ways and here I am doing just that with the results surprising me, to say the least. Having freedom can be scary, more so than I anticipated.

I am in awe of my amazing sister, she is a superwoman! And I am deepley humbled by her and her husband, giving my beautiful nephew my name, MIHAIL. I love him, I love my family.

I did this before the verdict of innocence of #Johnny Depp and the liar #AmberHeard. The next episode will be more on that.

44. Credible vs. Farcical With Amber Heard

I am breaking down the behavior of the two characters in the JD vs. AH trial. In my opinion, one with character and the other without character. The difference in behaviour and in the relationship with the jurrors the audience, if looked at from my perspective, that of an acting coach, is so visible and clear. My observations of the two is very practical, do I believe them or not, based on the many detailed tools I have at my disposal having done this work as an acting teacher/coach for so many years. This is ongoing discussian from the trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard. It is a story line that has all the drama and if thought of as a fiction, we would think it too much, to be real. It is and the fascination of the globe watching is due to the exposed human behavior, human experiences, bad and good, all in between, we are all experiencing, identifying with, curious about, when watching thie trial. It is sad and spectacular!
