43. Manufactured Emotions are Unbelievable and Incredible!

My intentions in this episode is to reflect, observe, learn, question human behavior and human emotions. As an acting teacher/coach that is what I do, to be able to continue evolving so I can help actors and artists I work with and continue to improve myself, both professionally and personally. As acting is a profession that deals with human emotions, human comportment, with humanity, I am detailed in my expertise, based on a long career, as and acting teacher, acting coach and an actress. No matter the events and situations we are all addicted to human emotions. In some cases, no pun intended, as painful as they are to watch, as in the case of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, we cannot stop. It is a global reaction. People cannot get enough. As an acting teacher, I am so careful to say, again, my impressions in this episode, have to do with my artistic observations, understaandings and questions, of the trial. I am not talking, judging, anything to do with abuse of any kind, as all abuse is horrific and should be stopped in any way. Victims shoud be believed.

42. From Communist Romania to Old Era in America!

When the Romanian film 4months 3weeks and 2days came out, depicting a woman in Communist Romanian Era, when illegal abortion was against the law, having to choose abortion in unsafe environment as it was illegal, her struggle and life risks, were a horror to the Western world. And now that seems to be the future of the free, democratic America. Can someone explain to me, how we got here. Democrats please tell me how you did not see this coming! And if you did not, what are you doing in your positions of power, if you are so stupid? All of you in powerful positions wiht stupid ideas in every field, such as CNN+, how do you estimate what will work and will be a great idea! Are you so narrow minded, mediocre and afraid, so you hold on to your personal gain that keeps you static, rather than do your jobs and be risk takers with new, original, authentic content and understanding. You have a choice, and you seem to make it over and over again... to stay in stupidity to hold on to personal power, ok. But then, please do not be shocked when, extraordinary decisions, face you, punch you in the gut. You cannot have it both ways. Mihaela M. Mihut

41. Dissecting Bits Of Oprah’s Interview with Viola Davis, A Great Actress!

Oprah's missed beats in the interview with the extraordinary actress Viola Davis on Netflix. I am dissecting Beats of it, analyzing the psychology turned into behavior of the artist Viola Davis, as she talks about her memoir 'Finding Me' and in the process recognizing and analyzing the artistic language she uses in her personal journey from the little girl to the successful adult and Oprah's  wonderment of it, as it is still only known to a few. I am hoping to make clear how the artistic journey and language is powerful to a non artist as Oprah and how and when understood publicly, it would amaze, teach, guide and be of benefit to others. Even Oprah who is an incredible public figure is wowed by it, without recognition of this language and comportment as it is still known and used only by a few. In this case by the  great artist Viola Davis, in this interview.

40. Reality Recognized is Where Truth Hides!

Admitting your truth first in the reality will lead you to the character's truth in the fiction. 

I got to work, to ACT in class and I loved it. And of course whenever I get to ACT I am always thinking of the teachings from The Actors Studio and of Ellen Burstyn one of the greatest actresses I was privileged to be on the stage with and learn from.

Teaching usually for me is sharing and putting in practice that which I ask of the students. I make a fool of myself to give them permission to do so, also. And they teach me so much in return. We had the opportunity to work with Adam a great actor and each of the students from class got to play opposite/and with him. I did also and was blown away by the recognition and reminder and the importance of being and speaking out what is, as the thoughts and observations are yours first, of the reality, the classroom in this example, to then move on and continue to find the truth, of the character, even more so, your truth admitted will lead to the character's truth and keep you on it. It was out of this world, to give yourself permission to be you all of you and know it is welcomed and appreciated by the audience, be it in class, on set, on stage and on location.  Admitting your truth first will lead you to the character's truth. Period.

37. Great Actors Believe Themselves!

Performance is truth, propaganda is lies. Get it right and stop attributing the word PERFORMANCE to Politicians who lie. The Performances are done with honesty, clarity, great responsibility and tons of work to get there, by amazing actors, who tap into their humanity to do so. The misunderstanding by so many of it, and crediting Senators with performing, is so wrong. They are spewing lies, that is propaganda not performance. 

And the Oscar goes to...President Zelensky for the role of a lifetime, and to the people of  Ukraine for  fighting, giving their lives for ours.

And the other Oscars, I believe, will go to those who understand, that working with acting coaches  is important and necessary. They do it ongoing. 36. If the Imagined is Unbearable, Imagine the Reality!

If the fictional character, Medea written by Euripides is almost unbearable to play, by actresses, a story of one, the legendary Ellen Burstyn, as I remember, shares with us, the details and difficulty to ‘go there’ even as an actor, due to this fictional story, in which Medea kills her children! Then how can real time killings of children, of people, go on in this moment and the next and … The rules and Institutions put in place a long time ago, need to be changed, as the powerful global leader Zelensky said it so clearly, addressing the congress in America and the American people.

If the imagined is unthinkable then imagine the reality in Ukraine.  Killing children and putting those innocent bodies in mass graves. Citing the Holocaust slogan 'Never Again' president Zelensky says, the phrase is now 'worthless'. And he is right. How can this be allowed!? Have we not learned! How can such atrocities as deliberate children killings, and civilians killings, their lifeless bodies left on the streets, and in mass graves in the bombarded cities, be allowed in 🇺🇦 Ukraine, now, in real time!!! My God!!!

I am brought to tears, as they were, by his courage, the courage of his people and their fight for our human liberties. What Incredible, inspiring, extraordinary examples we have, coming from Ukraine and from around the 🌎 people standing and doing anything they can, for Ukraine. But there needs to be more done. A lot more. Stop being in fear of Putin. Stop him now before it’s too late, for us all! Stop the bloodshed in Ukraine.

35. ”Deliberate Murder” of the Ukrainian People Is Unforgivable!

'DELIBERATE MURDER' - If “Deliberate Cruelty” is the unforgivable thing, then what is “Deliberate Murder” as the heroic President Zelensky of Ukraine 🇺🇦, so powerfully, calls out to the world, what is done to his people! The brave people of Ukraine, the example for the world, in the fight for democracy. They give their lives to it, because they fought to earn it, and know the importance of it, unlike some, in other place!
If deliberate cruelty is unforgivable for a character, Blanche DuBois in a play, and we are moved to tears when watching that, a fictional character, what are we to do as we are now watching real life Deliberate Murder on the people of 🇺🇦 ! There is got to be more to be done than watch.

34. From Actor playing a Character to President with Character of Ukraine

What an inspiration and an example to take from the President of Ukraine Zelensky, who began as an actor a "Servant of the People" on a TV series, portraying a president, to then becoming president elect, in real life, due to his people belief in him as character first and then as president with character, later. When played with conviction a character can transform fiction into reality, that is the power of true artists. And as big their responsibility. Showing his courage and fight for his people now, risking his life by staying in Ukraine and believing in his country fighting for democracy there but also for the entire world. No words that will do justice to he people of Ukraine and their President, fighting a power such as Russia with a mad man Putin.
